The first chapel was built. It was named after Sta. Cruz. The lot was donated by Mr. Wenceslao Villares.

The barangay was part of the 10 hectares park and playground which was later awarded to the actual occupants by President Carlos P.Garcia.

|
Mr. Roman Rodriguez was appointed as the first Tenyente del Barrio under the administration of Mayor Carmelo Porras.

1974
|
The birth of Barangay 33-D can be traced through Sangguniang Panglungsod (SP) resolution 1742 as authorized under PD 431. The creation of Forty Barangays in Davao City which was identified through a numerical form from Barangay to Barangay 40-D. These barangays were further clustered into sub-political district Poblacion A,B,C,D under the juridical territory of the first district of Davao City.

The Faith Tabernacle church was built along Artiaga St.

1982
|
Hon. Hanzel Magno was elected as the first Barangay Captain under the Martial Law.

1985
|
The Barangay Hall was built under the leadership of Hon. Hanzel Magno. It was also during this year that the second chapel of the barangay was built and was named after the first chapel (Sta. Cruz). At the same year, Immaculate Concepcion Chapel (ICC) was created. Until the present time, Fatima Parish Church does not recognize ICC as part of the its parochial chapel.

Project Hope building for the pre-school students of the barangay was build beside the barangay hall.

1989
|
After more than a decade of Martial rule a barangay elections was conduted during President Cory’s administration. The Punong Barangay chosen under a collegial method was Hon. Ismael Cahiwat. It was also during this year the acronym BAGOROMA was popularized under his leadership that means Bonifacio, Aurora,Gomez,Roxas amd mabini St. which encircled the barangay.

1991
|
Republic Act 7160 or otherwise known as the Local Government Code of the Philippines was implemented. Through the implementation of this landmark piece of legislation empowered the barangay to manage their own affairs particularly the delivery of the basic services.

1992
|
The first Sangguniang Kabataan (SK) election was conducted. The SK Officials elected were the following; SK Chairperson Danilo Daquigan, SK Kagawads; Emily Rose Brucal, Rommel Magpatoc, Eileen Mendoza,Reggie Umusig, Resty Concon, Alex Molina and Ma. Theresa Soriano. One of the most valuable projects of the youth officials was the construction of SK Hall which was later agreed by the SK Officials to donate the building to the Project Hope used.

1994

A barangay election was conducted, again Hon. Ismael Cahiwat was re-elected as the Punong Barangay. The Barangay Kagawads elected were the following; Hon. Corazon Capili, Hon. Francisco Moscare, Hon. Rommel Kintanar, Hon. Rolando Barrete, Hon. Roland Reodica, Hon. Dioscoro Cuenca and Hon. Felipe Fabroa.

Hon. Ismael Cahiwat was awarded as one of the most outstanding Punong Barangay (National Level) Due to its commitment in public service the barangay assisted the creation of BAGOROMA Women’s Cooperative.

1997
|
Mabini Trisikad Operators and Drivers Association (MATODA) was organized and on the same year (May 11) a barangay election was conducted. For the second time Hon. Ismael Cahiwat was re-elected as Punong Barangay and the following were the Barangay Kagawads; Hon. Frank Moscare, Hon. Corazon Capili, Hon. Ronnie Tabudlong, Hon. Rolando Barrete, Hon. Virgilio Villares, Hon. Jose Calumpang and Ho. Robert Delgado. During this year an SK election was conducted the following were the youth officials; Dennis Edisane (SK Chiarperson) Joy Laurilla,Marvin Villares,Jerlyn Lea Ibabao,Tyrone Garalde,Rogelio Concon,Gina Alimasag and Judy Ann Brucal were the SK Kagawads.

A barangay tax mapping was conducted through a partnership among local stakeholders the City Treasurers Office (CTO), People’s Alternative Development Center Inc. ) (NGO), and the Barangay Council of 33-D.

2002
|
A synchronized barangay election was conducted for the both Barangay Officials and Sangguniang kabataan. For the Barangay Officialsstill undisputed Hon. Ismael Cahiwat was re-elected for the third time as the Punong Barangay, the following were the barangay kagawads; Hon. Robert Delgado, Hon. Jose Calumpang, Hon. Danile Capili, Hon. Concordia Fernandez, Hon. Virgilio Villares, Hon. Roland Barrete and Hon. Gerry Peñano. For the sangguniang kabatan Christine Mamaril able to garned the seat as the SK Chairperson and the following are the SK Kagawads; Ferdinand Soriano Jr. April Garalde, Wellyn Moscare, Angela Kristel Barrete and ma. Rhodora Cacho.
